Police: 19-year-old who allegedly pushed over guard to escape court found hiding under bed

BREMERTON — A 19-year-old suspect who allegedly ran from a courthouse and pushed over a 74-year-old court guard was caught hiding under a bed in a hotel room Thursday morning, Bremerton police said.

Fugitive Holden Lippard-Taste has been on the run since late August 20. According to police, he was at a Bremerton courthouse in the 500 block of Park Avenue sometime when he decided to run for it, allegedly knocking over a  security guard and escaping capture.

His escape was caught on video.

New warrants were issued for Lippard-Taste’s arrest following the incident.

He has been arrested and will appear in court again soon.

    After that idiot killed those people in Atlanta, looks like court houses would be more alert. While I do applaud the elderly officers attempt, The court needs better security. OH and I hope the thug serves time and not a slap on the wrist
