WEST SEATTLE — Police are searching for at least one suspect after three arsons were reported Friday night in West Seattle.

Witnesses told officers they saw a man set a dumpster on fire in the 4300 block of Admiral Way just before midnight Friday. They said the man ducked between two buildings and ran off.

Firefighters said there was another dumpster fire  just two blocks away earlier in the night. Witnesses had put out the fire by the time help arrived.

Then around 2:00 a.m., police said someone apparently set fire to an abandoned apartment building on the 3200 block of California Avenue SW. The building is scheduled to be demolished.

Witnesses described the suspect as a white man, 5-foot-11. He was last seen wearing a white striped jacket and khaki shorts.

If you have any information, please call 9-1-1 and ask to speak to an officer.
