CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Thief stuffs employee's wallet down his jeans

SEATTLE -- A worker at a Seattle skin care salon thought her purse was safe because it was stashed away from public view. Now she knows better.

Take a look at the surveillance video from Seattle's Kucumber Skin Lounge as a thief walks in and pretends he wants to buy a gift certificate for his girlfriend.

He asked to use the restroom, then goes into the employee lounge and stuffs Katie Neely's wallet right down his pants.

Watch that again in slow motion -- he grabs and quickly shoves it down his jeans before disappearing.

"Our hallways are connected with the mini-mart next door so I kind of thought he just decided not to purchase the gift certificate and went out through the mini-mart," Neely said.

Now she's out thousands of dollars in cash that she was going to pay her rent with -- plus he charged up her credit cards.

"I keep finding out more and more, that he's using them to fund his various activities, gift certificates for himself or just pulling money straight out of my account, it's really frustrating," Neely said.

So take a look at these shots of his face, he's wearing a hat but somebody will know who he is. He looks kind of short. Neely says he knew what he was doing and is sure there are other victims in the Belltown area of Seattle.
