Truck over guardrail blocks 520 exit to Montlake for about an hour

SEATTLE – A semi truck ended up in the trees off a highway ramp near Seattle’s Montlake neighborhood Thursday afternoon.

WSDOT said the crash happened on the eastbound 520 ramp to Montlake and blocked the entire ramp.

A camera on the scene showed the truck over the guard rail and in the trees and bushes nearby.

It is unclear what led to the crash.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Chris Webb said no one was hurt in the crash.

The ramp reopened shortly before 3 p.m., WSDOT said.
