Police: Stickup robber steals hundreds from 64-year-old woman just waiting for a bus

SEATTLE – Police are searching for a man who walked up behind a 64-year-old woman at a bus stop, shoved a handgun into her side and demanded cash.

The  woman was waiting at the Rainier View Metro stop in the 11800 block of Beacon Ave South Sunday around 5:00pm.

That’s when she says the man robbed her.

Police say the man stole $200 from the woman and then ran away.

The woman described the man as black, in his 20s, 5’9”, 200 pounds with short black hair.  He was wearing a black and grey checkered polo shirt and blue jeans as well.
