After business meeting postponed, man creates video love letter to Seattle (now he wants help with a sequel)

SEATTLE -- It was an effort born out of a delay.

Ryan Killackey writes that his business meeting in Seattle was postponed.

"I was left with a full day to myself," wrote Killackey.  "So I took my camera and tripod into the city to shoot some time-lape."

What Killackey created is something of a love letter to the city.  With scenes and sequences any local would recognize.

But through an outsider's eye they feel fresh and new.

"What I wasn't prepared for was to fall in love with Seattle, its culture, and its people," wrote Killackey.

The video was published Monday on VIMEO and then shared on the Seattle subreddit.

Killackey dedicated the video to "the amazing people of Seattle and those I met on my journey."

He is also apparently considering making a a second video.

"If you'd like to participate in a sequel to this video, write to me and tell me why you love Seattle: ryan@ryankillackey.com," wrote Killackey.
