WANTED: Man accused of stealing guns, jewelry from 25 Bainbridge Island homes

 



BAINBRIDGE ISLAND -- Police are searching for this man suspected of stealing guns and jewelry from as many as 25 homes.

33-year-old Jason Michael Lucas has a $250,000 warrant for his arrest.

“We believe Lucas has fled the state to avoid arrest, and we are working with out-of-state authorities and the US Marshals Office to apprehend him," said Bainbridge Island Police Chief Matthew Hamner.

Police say Lucas is a felon with five previous convictions for residential burglary and several others for theft and possession of a stolen gun.

Lucas is 5-foot-7, 180-pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a goatee and a mustache.

Police say he drives a gray 1987 Ford pickup truck with Washington license plates B60138F.
