Gabriel Gaeta is slated to appear in Kitsap County Superior Court at 3 p.m. Monday. He’s expected to face charges of second degree murder, as well as manslaughter and rape of a child.

Wright was last seen Aug. 2 at her home in an East Bremerton mobile home park. Her parents called police Aug. 3 with reports of her disappearance, sparking a massive five-day search until her body was found in a wooded area not far from the home.

Gaeta was arrested Saturday at his home after investigators found forensic evidence linking him to the crime.

Deputies have not said anything about the motive for the crime, but they do believe Gaeta knew Wright. Gaeta lived close to Wright, family members said.
