Concerns raised after Tacoma debris fire (PHOTOS)

TACOMA -- A brush and debris fire in the 5000 block of 12th Street NE, in northeastern Tacoma, sent up a large plume of dark smoke visible from the surrounding area Monday afternoon.
The Fire Department said the fire had burned an estimated 2 to 3 acres and that the fire was contained on all flanks at about 7 p.m.
"Lots of debris, outbuildings and old vehicles burned," the fire department said in a tweet at about 7:10 p.m. "No inhabited houses involved."
Cause not immediately known, the Fire Department said.
