Picture I took from our deck in West Seattle on the evening last week when we were having thunderstorms all around us. It made for a glorious evening sky. That is Blake Island and the little white speck of light over the north end of Blake is the Ferry dock at Winslow. I just love this picture! From Cary & Cynthia in West Seattle.

Today will be a carbon copy of yesterday — abundant sunshine with highs about 10 degrees above normal — around 86 for Seattle. The National Weather Service “Area Forecast Discussion” this morning sums it up well: HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL BRING WARM SUNNY DAYS TO WESTERN WASHINGTON THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK AT LEAST.

Our SeaFair weekend will be spectacular with sunny skies and highs in the mid 80s for Seattle. The challenge will be avoiding sunburn and staying hydrated! It’ll be the “high show” for the Blue Angels! Enjoy!
