Do your shoes fit? Probably not anymore

SEATTLE — How well do your shoes fit?  Chances are, they may not fit as well as you’d like.

Feet are becoming larger these days, according to a U.K. study.  The average shoe size has increased two sizes since the 1970′s – and the average adult’s foot gets wider and longer as they age.

That means – in many cases, the favorite pair you bought years ago may not fit anymore, and may actually be damaging your feet.

Q13 FOX’s sister station in St. Louis, KTVI, recently talked with an orthopedic surgeon about what to look for in a pair of shoes.
