What did police find inside a suspicious package at a Seattle hotel?

SEATTLE -- Police and firefighters called to investigate a suspicious package at a downtown Seattle hotel made a surprising discovery.

Staff at the Four Seasons Hotel at 1st Avenue and Union Street found the lumpy package sealed in plastic wrap outside of a vacant room, police say.

Employees called for help, police responded and opened the package -- only to find six pounds of marijuana wrapped several times with petroleum jelly.

Officers seized the marijuana and sent it to the evidence unit where it will be destroyed.

Police are not sure where the package came from, but said they do no believe it was delivered by the hotel's room service.
