Uncomfortable heat continues...

SEATTLE -- The heat advisory continues through 6:00am Monday and may be extended by the National Weather Service into Tuesday.

Highs today reached into the upper 80s to lower 90 degree range across the central and south sound.

Tomorrow will be even warmer with highs in the middle 90s in some spots.

The extended forecast shows some change as we get into the Wednesday/Thursday time frame. A stronger onshore flow should be enough to start breaking up these long, hot days.

Low to middle 80s are expected on Wednesday and upper 70s by Thursday.

The very latest weather models have us sliding back up into the lower 80s by next weekend.
