hueyCAPTURED July 2, 2014 -- Steve Huey was captured by U.S. Marshals in Grand Praire, Texas thanks to Crime Stoppers tips from WMW viewers. WANTED IN FEDERAL WAY June 21, 2014 -- The U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Fugitive Apprehension Task Force is on the hunt for an accused violent child rapist. They're hoping family of Steven Huey, or someone who knows him will call the Crime Stoppers hotline and tell them where he is. The case is out of Federal Way, but the task force thinks Huey could be in Texas or Arizona now. Federal Way detectives say he raped, molested, and assaulted a young girl for several years, starting when she was eleven years old. "This is one of the types of offenders that is, in my mind, one of the worst types of offenders,” says Cathy Schrock with the Federal Way Police Department. "He repeatedly victimized this child. He needs to go to jail, and he needs to be taken off the street because these types of offenders don't usually stop." Steven Huey is 34 years old. Again, Marshals think he could be in Texas or Arizona now, and are asking his family or friends to do the right thing and let them know where he is.
