Want to see U.S. Open at Chambers Bay? Now's your chance

UNIVERSITY PLACE -- Tickets for the 2015 U.S. Open Championship at Chambers Bay went on sale today.

A variety of daily and weekly tickets went on sale this morning for the iconic PGA Tour event, with prices starting at $50 and ranging much higher for daily tickets. Weekly tickets can be purchased for $450, and all weekly tickets include a playoff ticket for Monday, June 22, if needed.

About 30,000 tickets are available for sale.

Junior tickets are available and must be purchased on site at will call. More tickets will also be available for military personnel, PGA officials said.

Ticket orders will only be accepted on USGA websites at usopen.com or www.usga.org/tickets or if received via a mailed application

The 2015 U.S. Open is the first time the tournament -- the second of four major golf championships --will be held in the Pacific Northwest in its 115-year history. It's also only the fourth time the championship will be conducted at a publicly owned course.
