Four suspects burglarize local Mac Store in less than 30 seconds

Suspects can be seen stealing from the Redmond Mac store.

REDMOND -- Police are hoping the public can help identify four thieves that broke into the back room of a Mac store and were able to snatch 16 high-priced computers in less than 30 seconds.

Redmond police responded to an alarm about 7:13 a.m. Sunday at the Mac Store at the Redmond Town Center in the 7000 block of 166th Avenue NE. All four doors to the business were locked, but footage later recovered showed four suspects enter the back room, clear out a shelf containing 16 MacBook Pro Laptops and run out.

The estimated loss of the burglary is more than $25,000. The store was hit by a similar burglary in April.

It was unknown how the suspects managed to get in the building while the doors remained locked.

Investigation into the case is ongoing, and police are hoping someone in the public can help find the suspects. Tips can be reported to the Redmond Police Department by calling 425-556-2500 or 911.
