U.S. Marshals in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho are hunting for a federal fugitive they think is hiding out in Eastern Washington.

Gary Bertholf is a convicted felon who’s breaking federal probation for stealing a gun.

He’s 53 years old and has done time in state and federal prison.

Marshals say his first bust was for assault and burglary when he was 18, and he’s been committing crimes ever since around Spokane and Eastern Washington — the same areas Marshals are looking for him now.
