SEATTLE -- Some workers at the McDonald's on Seattle's First Hill walked off the job Wednesday night and set up a strike line on Madison Avenue -- hours before a national fast-food workers' strike planned for Thursday.

The workers are backing a push for big corporations to pay a minimum wage of $15 an hour.
