It’s a legendary cop movie filmed right here in Washington state. The 1974 classic “McQ” starring John Wayne also had guest starring roles by actual Seattle police officers.

Thanks to the Seattle Metropolitan Police Museum, you can see a special showing at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Pacific Place Cinemas downtown.

The movie is a fundraiser to benefit the police museum, so come out on Wednesday night to see a cool movie and help support a great piece of Seattle’s history.
