Who’s on the hook for the Bertha tunnel trouble costs?

SEATTLE — Political analyst C.R. Douglas talks about the latest news that broken Bertha will not be fixed and able to resume digging Seattle’s waterfront tunnel until at least late March 2015, and that the contractor wants the state’s taxpayers to pay $125 million for the work stoppage.

    This is a typical Seattle project. Remember the football stadium? Remember the original Kingdome? How much to the politicians rake off in these deals? How much for the contractors? And you pay the bill………
