Nice weekend -- enjoy!

SEATTLE -- High pressure will start to build into the area tonight. Expect some afternoon sunshine tomorrow with highs near 60 degrees.

By Sunday, a thermally induced trough will move along the coast and act as a “heat pump” overriding the cool north winds and forcing temperatures to warm close to 70 degrees by Sunday.

Monday should be nice as well.

Scattered showers will return by Tuesday with temperatures cooling back into the upper 50s for the remainder of the week.
