SEATTLE — A man with a truck and camper held up a state ferry line Tuesday night, refusing stop vehicle until he spoke with Gov. Jay Inslee, witnesses said.
The unidentified man lead police on a “low speed chase” in circles the Coleman Dock at around 10 p.m. The night ferry to Bainbridge Island was delayed for a brief time, but opened again at 10:48 p.m. The man was arrested shortly before 11 p.m.
It was unclear why the man requested to see Gov. Jay Inslee, and what lead him to run from police. It is also unclear why he chose the ferry dock as place to run from police.
