Spring-like weather through Friday, but a cold weekend is on tap

SEATTLE -- Enjoy the spring-like weather through Friday, because it will be cold enough Saturday through Monday that some may see lowland snow.

It looks mostly dry, but plan on some much colder weather with icy roads during the mornings. Most of the snow threat will be on higher hills away from Puget Sound, the Bellingham area and the mountains.

Sunday looks like the best day for all of us to see some snow. The big story is that the temperatures will drop some 15 to 20 degrees from Friday to Saturday. It’ll be quite gusty, too, this weekend.

A nice sundog or icebow in this photo today (Thursday).
