Suspect sketch: Cleft lip could be clue that helps catch suspect in violent robbery

everettWANTED IN EVERETT -- A man's cleft lip could be the clue that helps catch the suspect in a violent robbery. Everett police drew up this sketch of the guy. Police say he walked up to a worker on his smoke break on Southeast Everett Mall Way and demanded cash. When the victim said he didn't have any, the would-be robber slashed at him with a box cutter, slicing him a bit on his forearm, before running off. "It's pretty volatile. We don't know about this guy at all," said Everett Police Ofc. Aaron Snell. "We don't know who he is, but what we do know is that he's willing to walk up to someone, demand money, and just start attacking him. "We really want to identify this guy. We want to talk with him. We want to find out what's going on. Anytime we have someone who's willing to attack someone else with a box cutter, that's pretty serious stuff." Everett police think he's Hispanic, in his late teens to early 20's, about 5-foot-5 and 125 pounds. And, of course, the big clue is a cleft lip on the upper right side.
