Russell Wilson suits up for Texas Rangers

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- No rest for Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. He posted this picture on Twitter, and announced that he will be at the Texas Rangers' facility on March 3.

At this point, it's unclear if Wilson will participate in drills or just talk with the players. His schedule is expected to be released in the next few days.

The Rangers selected Wilson in the minor league phase of the Rule 5 draft in December, and he said at the time that he was interested in going to spring training.

Wilson played collegiate baseball at North Carolina State and was drafted by Colorado in the fourth round of the 2010 draft.

Wilson officially decided to pursue a career in football after leading Wisconsin to the 2012 Rose Bowl.
