Stormy periods over weekend in Western Washington

SEATTLE -- The next storm heads in around midnight tonight. The strongest part will be from 2 a.m. till 8 a.m.

Wind gusts will jump to 40 mph or greater. Heavy rain with some standing water on the roads early Friday. Most of the lowlands will get some sunshine Friday but the mountains will continue to get hammered. Skier delight but avalanche danger increases.

Friday night we should see the full “snow” moon. Enjoy and happy Valentine’s Day.

Saturday starts out dry but ends up with another storm. Yet another storm heads in Sunday. It does get a little cooler over the weekend. Lows back into the 30s.
