West Seattle woman caring for dying husband loses home to a fire

west seattle fireWEST SEATTLE – A family going through a devastating hardship now has one more obstacle to overcome.

A fire destroyed Eileen Riddle’s West Seattle home on Sunday. It was refuge where her husband was living out his last days. Eileen’s husband Greg is going through the final stages of terminal cancer now Eileen is scrambling to find temporary housing for her family.

The home located in  9400 block of 30th Ave. S.W went up in flames while the family was inside, luckily they all made it out safely. But they lost most of their valuables and clothing.  Firefighters say the fire started in the garage and it has been deemed accidental.
