Police ask for public’s help in finding woman last seen at Fife truck stop Friday

FIFE, Wash. — Police asked for the public’s help Wednesday in locating a 48-year-old woman who was last seen at the Love’s Truck Stop at 1501 33rd Ave. E in Fife at about 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17.

copeWendy L. Cope suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia and did not have any of her medications, wallet, money, or cell phone with her when she went missing, police said.

Cope is described as “very friendly and highly vulnerable” by family members and was seen talking with truck drivers in the truck stop parking area just before her disappearance, police said.
