Saints coach puts Seahawks logo on practice fields to create 'exact environment'

NEW ORLEANS -- Saints coach Sean Payton  had the Seahawks logo painted on the Saints' practice fields to create the "exact environment" leading up to Saturday's rematch at Seattle's CenturyLink Field.

"That's all part of the little things we do through the week to prepare ourselves," quarterback Drew Brees told the New Orleans Times Picayune website, nola.com. "It's just knowing your elements and just put yourself in the moment as much as you can. It's in the indoor facility as well. Just knowing that you're going to see a lot of those colors when you step into that stadium and preparing to play your best on the practice field and hope that carries over."

Not all players wanted it there, however.

Cornerback Keenan Lewis said he would probably get some friends and, "We'll probably come cut the grass tonight and get that off the field. I don't want to see nothing with a Seahawk logo on it."

He will see plenty of Seahawks logos at the stadium and throughout Seattle on Saturday.
