Police need help locating hit-and-run U-haul driver

Pic1SHORELINE — The Washington State Patrol is asking for help identifying the offending driver in a hit-and-run accident in Shoreline.

Officials received calls of a hit-and-run around 1:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of NE 145th Street and Stone Avenue North. Police said a U-haul pick-up truck struck the end of a victim’s vehicle, damaging a car and private property.

The driver then fled the scene and abandoned his disabled U-Haul truck a short distance away. He is described as a white male, 30-40 years old with no hair.

Anyone with information relating to the crash is encouraged to call WSP at 425-401-7745.
