Brief rain, then dry weekend

We're seeing a lot of fog around the region-- but that is lifting as a front moves across the NW later. This front will deliver some southerly winds and some rain showers for the afternoon and evening. It's a pretty weak front-- so not a whole lot of rain-- and the further south you are on the I-5 corridor the less rain you'll see. If you're south of Salem, OR or south of Manzanita, OR you might not see any rain at all. High temps: 40-50 west of the Cascades.

THE WEEKEND: Mostly looks dry. A bit more sun at times on Saturday afternoon than Sunday. High temps 40-45 and overnight lows in the 35-40 range. The Seahawks game looks to be DRY-- with some temps at the start of the game about 38 degrees at CenturyLink.

FOR THE REST OF 2013: We'll see lots of clouds for the first part of next week. Another weak front moves in Monday night that could bring in some showers late Monday and the first part of Tuesday. High temps pretty seasonal-- about 40-45 for highs, mid 30s for lows.

NEW YEAR'S EVE: Looks cloudy but pretty dry except for a few coastal showers. Enjoy!
