Goodbye snow ... back to rain this weekend

SEATTLE -- It’s the final day of fall and we finally got a little lowland snow! Most of it has melted and now we head into a weekend of scattered showers and fairly mild temperatures.

A cold front pushing through is providing some dry time heading into the overnight. Lows will go from the upper 30s into the lower 40s.

Scattered rain returns Saturday nd Sunday under our next weather system, but daytime highs hit near 50 degrees. No chance for lowland snowfall for the next several days.

In fact, looking ahead to Christmas Day, it looks like a cold start (near freezing), with highs near 40 degrees under mainly dry skies.
