Aerial video shows destructive Bellevue house fire

Bellevue fireBELLEVUE — Fire ripped through a house in the Newport Shores community late Thursday. Officials said nobody was home at the time of the fire.

Firefighters contained the fire within about half an hour, according to the city of Bellevue.

Flames could be seen shooting out of the roof of the two-story home. Crews called in King County Sheriff Air Support to aid the firefight.

Nobody was hurt, but the home sustained an estimated $300,000 in damage.

Officials said the cause of the fire is unknown.
