Police find nearly 3 lbs. of meth, heroin in Lewis County home

CHEHALIS -- Deputies arrested four people Monday when they discovered more than $200,000 worth of drugs at a Chehalis home, according to the Lewis County Sheriff's Office.

Officials from Thurston and Lewis Counties found the drugs while serving a search warrant at a home on the 2500 block of Jackson Highway.

Deputies said they recovered nearly three pounds of meth and about 150 grams of pure heroin.

The suspects, in their 30s and 40s, were booked into the Lewis County Jail. They face drug possession charges with intent to deliver, sheriff's deputies said.

The search warrant was a result of an on-going drug investigating task force, sheriff's deputies said.
