Two men seriously hurt in Pioneer Square shooting

SEATTLE -- Police say two men were shot at point blank range early Friday morning as they were sitting in a car at the corner of Occidental Avenue South and South Washington Street, and the shooter is still on the loose.

The men were shot around 2 a.m., police said One of the victims was shot once and was expected to survive, but the other victim may have been shot three times and is fighting for his life.

Both victims were taken to Harborview Medical Center.

Police only have a vague description of the suspect and are not releasing any information about the shooter at this time.

Detectives are investigating the crime. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Seattle Police Department.
