MAZAMA — State Route 20 is closed for the season after significant snowfall clogged the roadway during the weekend.
The highway closes every winter season on the west side at Milepost 134 and on the east side at Milepost 171 near the town of Mazama. The pass typically reopens in the late spring.
Other passes, such as Highway 2 and Interstate 90 remain open all year.
For a complete list of winter pass information and to stay up to date on closures, visit the Washington State Department of Transportation website.
