Coldest weather of the season this week

SEATTLE -- Cold weather heads in for this week. Tonight, there will be some spotty snow showers but most should stay away from the metro Seattle area

The best chance for a quick inch of snow will be away from Puget Sound and east of I-405. Everett could get a little snow before it dries overnight. All areas may see some snow before midnight tonight but little is expected. It will be windy up north of Everett through the night.  The Bellingham area will get gusts of about 40 mph.

Tuesday through Thursday will be sunny or clear, with lows near 22 and highs near 39. It will be icy each morning for the commute times. Especially bridges and shaded streets. This will be the coldest weather of the season so far so stay warm.
