Bonney Lake High School evacuated for bomb scare



BONNEY LAKE -- Bonney Lake High School administrators and area police evacuated the school after an anonymous note declaring there was a bomb in the school was found Tuesday morning.

According to police, the note was found at 9 a.m., and the school was evacuated a short time later. Students and staff were dismissed from the high school for the day, and bomb dogs searched the property, police said.

No bomb was found after extensive search, police said. After school activities were to be held as scheduled.
