Tacoma driver killed in rollover crash

TACOMA- Speed was a factor in a single-vehicle crash that killed a 43-year-old Tacoma man Monday evening, the Washington State Patrol said.

According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Guy Gill, the driver was heading south on Interstate 705 when he took the exit to South 21st Street. He hit the curbing at the top of the ramp, vaulted over the barrier of the overpass and back onto I-705.

The vehicle, a black 2008 Audi, landed upside down.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
