bikini baristaEVERETT — Three baristas at the Hillbilly Hotties coffee stand in Everett were arrested Wednesday after police received complaints about alleged illegal activities, the Everett police said.

Just after 11 a.m., police served a search warrant on the stand in the 4000 block of Hoyt Avenue and arrested three baristas.

Two baristas — a 20-year-old from Lynnwood and a 21-year-old from Shoreline, will be charged with violating Everett’s adult cabaret law, police said. The third barista, a 33-year-old from Lynnwood, will be charged for lewd conduct, police said, which stemmed from a different investigation.

“The investigation was initiated by citizen complaints after they observed and reported illegal activities at the stand, which is located along a busy roadway,” the police statement said.

Police added that the Hillbilly Hotties was recently robbed by a 12-year-old boy.

The only thing lewd about this is the morons who complain about it, get real folks, this country the USA is awash in sex, movies, video games, next they will be complaining about the DVD's from RedBox. Why do they not complain about the poverty here and the lost jobs or people going hungry, Idiots is what they, complainers are…

I don't think anyone would agree with these businesses on a moral level – IF, they are engaging in illegal activities. However, a majority of the issues have been caused by citizens unhappy with seeing a woman in a bikini serving coffee – because they believe it's tawdry. What's interesting is that these same police agencies don't rush into Wild Waves and shut them down. They don't close the beaches all across Western Washington because of scantily clothed women. But why? Probably because the citizens involved with drumming up all of the adversity these establishments have faced have made a conscious decision to avoid beaches, etc.

Honestly, I bet if a poll was taken across the country most Americans would probably agree that local, municipal, county, state, and federal resources should go to fixing issues with homelessness, education, and our economy – before trying to shutdown a company that is ironically helping our economy.

Let's be real. Beginning with Baywatch to the SI Swimsuit Edition, computer popups to xbox/playstation games, and the worst offender, cable TV – most of our culture has been overrun by sex and sexual icons. I cannot say why, for sure. I would guess it has something to do with that whole 'Freedom of Expression' First Amendment thingy that people keep talking about.

Knuckle-dragging scumbags will defend their right to jerk off wherever and whenever as much as possible. Anyone who disagrees with this will invariably get shouted down (of course if there were male equivalents of this bikini barista crap, these same men would shriek, "THEY'RE ALL GAY!!!" in waves of jealousy and interrupted jerking-off, heaven forbid). Keep lowering the bar, people. Keep lowering it.
