Man uses well-dressed dummy to drive in HOV lane

WigSEATTLE — A Washington State Patrol trooper ticketed a man traveling southbound on Interstate 5 Thursday morning after noticing his passenger seemed a tad too stiff.

According to the Seattle P.I., a trooper noticed the man using an dummy to drive in the car pool lane after he thought the passenger’s wig looked askew. On further examination, the trooper realized the man’s passenger was actually a dummy.

The driver was ticketed $124 for a HOV violation. The driver told the trooper the dummy’s name was “Mr. Safety.”

    Maybe we should fine WSDOT for causing some of the worst congestion in the country and keeping the issue completely off their list of priority's. Their solution to the downtown seattle I5 bottleneck is to repaint the lanes which will take around 5 years and 30 million dollars. i badly want the WSDOT reformed.

      DOT gets an obscene amount of money they could fix all the roads and bridges but they are poorly managed and we have corrupt union members who pad their hours.
