The dry, foggy weather continues through the weekend. If you would like some sunshine, just head up into the hills or out to the beach. It got up into the 70s at the coast today — WOW. And the mountain passes have been running in the mid to upper 60s — another WOW. But the lowlands are stuck under an inversion and that means foggy weather continues. An inversion keeps colder air down at the surface and the colder air keeps the clouds around. There will be some late afternoon sun breaks this week but most of the metro area stays cloudy. We have gone nine days without rain and I’d expect at least another 7 -10 days without rain. Right now it looks dry for Halloween. Walter. 10/21/13
