Rare Peruvian treasures on display at SAM

SEATTLE– The Seattle Art Museum is hosting a collection of rare Peruvian treasures in the upcoming collection “Peru: Kingdoms of the Sun and the Moon.”

Many of Peru’s ancient treasures and artifacts are featured, including  sculpture, metalwork, painting and textiles from the Mochica, Chimu and Inca cultures.

SAM is the only U.S. venue for this exhibition, which includes more than 300 pieces of art and runs from Oct. 17 through Jan. 5, 2014.
