SEATTLE -- The loudest outdoor stadium in the country might soon get a little louder.

According to Foxsports.com, the Seattle Seahawks are looking at adding an additional 2,000 to 3,000 seats at CenturyLink Stadium, bringing the stadium's capacity to around 70,000.

Multiple proposals into adding new seats are being investigated, Foxsports.com reported. Officials are looking at adding spots opposite to those in place at the "Hawks' Nest" where some of the loudest fans at CenturyLink prefer to sit.

New seats would add to the noise, and open up more seats on a season-ticket waiting list that is 12,000 people long.

Teams around the league understandably let out a collective groan at the news of more seats. In 2005, the New York Giants asked the league to investigate whether or not the Seahawks were generating crowd sound with loudspeakers.
