Want to vote? Make sure you're registered

KING COUNTY - If you want to vote for your favorite candidate come election day, you first need to make sure you're registered to vote in King County.

Monday, Oct. 7, is the deadline for people to register to vote by mail or online for the Nov. 5 general election.  It's also the deadline for people who've moved recently to make any address changes.

King County Elections will mail ballots to all registered voters on Oct. 16.  Once voters receive their ballots, they can mail them back anytime up until Nov. 5.

For those who miss the Monday deadline, you can still register in-person at the King County Elections office or the Voter Registration Annex until Monday, Oct. 28.

For more information on registering to vote or to update your address or signature, just go to the King County Elections website.
