According to the Peninsula Daily News, Nilles met Gladys Salley at the Vintage at Sequim, the senior apartment complex where they live.

They bonded over drives and trips to McDonald’s, where the staff would ask how long they’d been married.

The wedding take place Friday morning at Cock-a-Doodle Doughnuts in Port Angeles, according to the paper.
