McPumpkin Spice Latte?

CHICAGO -- The rain has come. But so has Starbucks' famed pumpkin spice latte season. So it's not all bad, right?

Now, Starbucks might have some competition when it comes to cornering the hot pumpkin drink market. McDonald's Corp. is adding pumpkin spice lattes to bring in some of the Starbucks' crowd, Bloomberg news announced Tuesday.

The new McCafe pumpkin late will come in three sizes and be available with whole or non-fat milk. A 16-ounce latte will cost $2.89 and sell through mid-November, much cheaper than Starbucks' $4.55 16-ounce latte.

According to Bloomberg, Starbucks has sold more than 200 million pumpkin spice lattes since it introduced them nine years ago.

Donut shop Dunkin' Donuts has also recently unveiled a pumpkin-spice mocha.
