Police search for suspects in Seatac shooting

carSEATAC — Police are searching for suspects in an early morning shooting that left two men injured and cars damaged Thursday.

The King County Sheriff’s Office received a report of multiple shots fired around 1 a.m. Thursday in the 16700 block of 31st Avenue South. Deputies arrived on the scene to find a man in his 30s collapsed at a nearby bank with one gunshot wound. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries. Another person in a bullet ridden car checked himself into the hospital with at least gunshot wound.

According to police, the men were driving in their car when a suspect or suspects opened fire. The victims crashed their car into parked cars at an apartment complex, and one of the victims ran to a nearby bank.

Police are searching for the suspects, but say they have no clear accounts from either the victims or witnesses. It is unknown if the shooting was a random act or if the victims were targeted.

Sheriff’s office detectives are investigating the case.

    Why are there no updates to this story? Has the shooter been found? Did the victims survive? I've seen not one update from any of the major Seattle news groups.
