Big changes on the way

SEATTLE -- In the words of Annie, the sun will come out tomorrow! High pressure is still in charge of our weather, despite a deep marine layer spoiling our fun today.

Highs tomorrow will be near 82 degrees after some morning fog burns off.

On Sunday, we will start the day clear and then see clouds increase throughout the day. Kickoff time for the Seahawks could see a few light showers in the area at that time, but hard to pinpoint an exact hour. Scattered showers will make their way across Western Washington Sunday night so if you are heading out to the game, grab an umbrella just in case.

Monday will be cooler with highs in the upper 60s. Scattered showers will dominate the forecast for much of next week. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s. I’m not ready to say that summer is completely over just yet. There are some signs of a slight warming (and clearing) the following weekend, although it’s too early to tell for certain. Fall officially begins Sunday, Sept. 22.
