Crime Stoppers tips lead to fugitive accused of turning front yard -- into firing range

rig FUGITIVE CAPTURED September 5, 2013 -- Wapato police say tips called into Yakima County Crime Stoppers led Yakima County Sheriff's deputies to an abandoned home in Parker, where they found and arrested Rigoberto Torres. He has been booked into the Yakima County Jail.

WANTED IN WAPATO and YAKIMA COUNTY August 30, 2013 -- Wapato police say convicted felon, Rigoberto Torres, is accused of firing six shots in his front yard -- hitting a man in the leg -- one of two men he was arguing with in front of his home. Police say he’s ‘armed and dangerous’, jacked-up on meth, and on the run in Yakima County.   Torres is 24 years old, and detectives say he's known to shave his head to disguise himself. They think he could still be in Wapato or somewhere in Yakima county -- but he does have ties to Salem, Oregon.
